A new chapter has begun in the history of the BARNES group. On June 13, 2024, Heidi Barnes and Thibault de Saint Vincent inaugurated Maison Boissière, BARNES's first five-star hotel residence, located at 49 Rue Boissière in the prestigious 16th arrondissement of Paris. For this leader in luxury real estate, with over thirty years of expertise, it was the natural next step: offering international clients an entirely new way to experience Paris.
The residence occupies two interconnected Haussmann buildings — 49 Rue Boissière and 93 Rue Lauriston — fully renovated and united by a rare Italian-style garden, a true green oasis in the heart of the capital. Interior designer Philippe Daraux, founder of Mis en Demeure, and architect Manon Mallac-Koenig led the transformation, creating interiors inspired by Parisian boudoirs: generous volumes, deep powdery colours, noble materials and carefully curated objects. Wall coverings by Pierre Frey and Broquenié lend additional depth to an atmosphere that is at once intimate and majestic.
Maison Boissière offers sixteen apartments ranging from 45 to 125 m², including four exceptional residences with terraces or balconies overlooking the Paris rooftops — some with views of the Eiffel Tower. Each apartment bears the name of a celebrated writer or artist: Ernest Hemingway (125 m², wine cellar, fireplace, terrace), Jules Verne (110 m², panoramic Eiffel Tower view), Sacha Guitry (95 m², dual aspect, palm-leaf fresco, terrace) and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (110 m², two bedrooms). All apartments feature king-size beds, private lounges, contemporary kitchens, and Sisley beauty products.
Service is at the heart of the Maison Boissière experience. A concierge available seven days a week, an in-home chef, in-room massages, access to a private gym, and pressing service meet the expectations of the most discerning guests. Every morning, a gourmet breakfast made from the finest local produce — with a selection by Ladurée — is delivered to the apartment. Long-stay residents benefit from a personal storage service for their belongings between visits, so they can return each time to a true home-from-home in Paris.
Designed for stays ranging from a long weekend to several months, Maison Boissière embodies a new vision of luxury hospitality: that of a home away from home in one of Paris's most elegant neighbourhoods, within ten minutes' walk of the Trocadéro, the Palais de Tokyo and the Arc de Triomphe. Its success was confirmed within the very first year with the award of five-star certification.
